FandomForum.com is a brand new community site geared toward members of EVERY fandom.

After seeing several community forum sites over the years that allowed a lot of hate, exclusion and double standards to be passed around, we finally decided that enough was enough! We’re not going to sit down and allow online bullying and blatantly rude behavior to be over-looked on these types of sites anymore. Everyone should have the right to care about what they care about in a place designated for that without feeling uncomfortable and without being run off.

Fandom Forum is here for ALL fans of ALL fandoms to gather together and to enjoy discussing the shows, books, celebrities, films, etc. that they care about without hate, bullying or exclusion. Come on over, join and hang out! We’d love to have each and every one of you!

A few additional things to note:

1. If you don’t see your fandom there, we take requests (HERE), and we honor them quickly, as long as you are willing to post in the new areas!
2. Since we are a brand new site, we are in need of some helpers – moderators, graphic “experts” and posters alike. Our forums are pretty empty at the moment, but we’d like to boost them up greatly, so be sure to volunteer HERE if you can help or just start posting as often as you can to get things started!

Fox president Kevin Reilly is giving Glee‘s upcoming mini-reboot a big thumbs up, while also managing expectations about how involved the core cast will be moving forward.

“I’ve read first three scripts and I’m very happy with how seamless [the transition] is,” Reilly told reporters at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour in Beverly Hills, adding that the show will split its focus between McKinley and NYADA, where Rachel is enrolled as a freshman. “There’s going to be thematic linkages between the two [worlds].”

Although it’s been widely reported that all major castmembers would be back for Season 4, Reilly acknowledged that several actors will only be around part time. “We really have a core of some of the returning characters and some of the new ones that we’ll be servicing every week, and then limited deals with some of the other actors, who will be joining here and there through the season,” he said. “I think it will make for a fun surprise [when they turn up].”

Express opened it’s doors at Vancouver’s Pacific Center shopping mall last week, and to celebrate the grand opening, our friends at FASHION Magazine, along with Glee’s Mark Sallingand 90210′s Shenae Grimes hosted a party complete with entertainment, cocktails, and of course, shopping.

I had a few minutes with both guests of honour, but first I present Mr. Mark Salling, also known to you Gleeks as Noah Puckerman, your favourite singing, guitar playing, self-proclaimed badass. We had a few minutes to chat about his relationship with Express, what pieces he can’t live without, and his thoughts on womenswear (ladies, take note).

(And to my own credit, I conducted this entire interview without passing out or profusely sweating, so let’s chalk this up as a win, okay?)

A HAUTE MESS: Welcome to Vancouver!

MARK: Thank you! I love the ‘Couv.

Yeah? Have you been before?

I have. This is my third time here. I love it.

I’m guessing you’ve come up here before with your co-star [Cory Monteith]?

Yeah, both times I did. The first time I was here was for the Olympics, and I came up with a few of my “bro-stars,” as I like to call them. And the second time I came up with Cory we also played a little disc golf around Victoria.

Bro-stars, I love that. So now you’re here with Express. What brought on this relationship?

I’ve been coming to Express since I was in Junior High because the jeans always fit me really well, and they still fit me really well, 5 years later… yeah right [laughs]. The jeans I’m wearing right now are Express, this jacket is Express, so I Express myself still. I’m still Expressing myself.

Well played. So having shopped here for years, the relationship was a natural fit.

Yeah, definitely. I’m doing this event with them, and I did an advertorial with them as well, coming out in the September issue of Vogue, so I’m happy to be working with them again.

You’re in the September issue of Vogue! That’s a really big deal.

[laughs] You know, that’s what my publicist said, but I didn’t quite get it.

It is! Anyone in the fashion world would kill to be in the September issue. Give your self some credit. 

Alright, alright, I’ll give you that one. [laughs]. It’s pretty cool.

Now that you’re acting as a brand ambassador for Express, what are your favourite pieces that are in store right now?

The jeans, definitely. They fit me perfectly. And then I’m a big v-neck t-shirt guy. The ones here have a really good fit, which for me is really important since I wear them everyday.

So you’re a jeans and tee guy. Other than that, how would you describe your personal style?

I’d say it’s pretty casual, I don’t like to spend too much on my wardrobe. I want to be comfortable, but stylish, and not spend too much money, which is what Express is all about. It’s affordable, but still stylish. Oh and I also wear a lot of button-up shirts. I wear lots of plaid shirts, and they have a great selection here of those too.

Jeans, tees, and plaid shirts. So you’re saying you’re a guy.

Pretty much. [laughs]

What about women’s clothing? What are the pieces here that you’d like to see a girl wearing?

Well I haven’t checked out the women’s section, but I imagine it’s got a lot of good stuff like the mens section. [looks around] So I guess jewelry …and shoes.

You like a girl that wears shoes? That’s setting the bar pretty high.

I love a girl that wears like, shoes and stuff. [laughs] But it’s all about the situation, I’m sure anyone would appreciate a girl that can adapt, whether it’s casual or more dressed up for whatever situation they’re in.

What’s next for you? You must be excited about the new season of Glee coming up.

Yes, season 4. I actually haven’t even gotten the first script yet, so I have no idea what’s going to happen. I’m excited and curious to see where it goes.

What happens if you get the first script and you’re not in it? I’m just kidding.

Well it’s been a good run. [laughs] No, I do know that I still have a job.

Any last words for your Canadian fans? 

Oh, Canada! I love you.

For the second year in a row, Mark-SallingWorld.net has decided to raise money for a selected charity in honor of Mark Salling’s birthday. He’ll be 30 this year, and what better way is there for his fans to show that they care than to donate money to a great cause in celebration for him?

This year, instead of donating to an animal shelter, we’ve chosen to raise money for The Trevor Project! For those of you who don’t know much about it, The Trevor Project is a non-profit organization designed to provide crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ youth in the U.S. Mark and his Glee cast mates have recently shown their support for the organization, so we think that it would be an awesome idea to show our support as well!

As casting for Universal’s Fifty Shades of Grey slowly gets underway, everyone — including Celebuzz – has an opinion on who should play leads Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey. However, the supporting characters are just as important!

Jose Rodriguez is Ana’s good friend from college, and while he may want more, she only sees him in a platonic way. Think of him as Jacob from Twilight.

Jose, who attended college with Ana (so 21, 22), is a photographer. Physically, here is how he’s described in the book:

“He’s tall. He’s all shoulders and muscles, tanned skin, dark hair and burning dark eyes.”

The first person that comes to mind is Mark Salling, 29. The Glee star matches Jose’s physical description exactly, and he totally has the edgy photographer thing going on. Celebuzz is told Mark’s name has been in consideration along with Vampire Diaries star Michael Trevino, 27.

While Trevino definitely has the attitude and look, it’s almost like he’s too pretty. Hello– wouldn’t Ana have hooked up with him in college? Plus, we are pretty on board with his Vampire Diaries counterpart Ian Somerhalder to play Christian Grey, so doubtful both of those sexy stars would get cast.
